Romney: Democrat Mothers Are Closeted Welfare Mothers

That 47% of people “who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it” would have to include my mother, include all working mothers who vote Democrat hell or high water.

My mother was always a Democrat. Maybe that was because she lived during the Depression and World War II and loved Franklin D. Roosevelt because she believed he saved the country and most of all care about ordinary people.

Well of course the one big exception would be Dwight Eisenhower. I'm sure she voted for the great man who helped to save America and the world from the tyranny of the Nazis. He was larger than either political party. As a president he was less perfect than he was as a general. To his credit he warned America about the tyranny of the military-industrial complex, though no president contributed more to its growth, most unfortunately to development and multiplication of nuclear weapons. He also warned about getting bog down in land wars in Asia. He was and continues to be ignored by militarists, which do not believe Ike was. So Ike was not a great president but was a great man before he became president. And compared to him, all presidents since have been Lilliputian.

My mother was brought up dirt poor on a Texas farm. Her father was a tenant farmer. It was a time before irrigation when scary dust storms swept across the land like tsunamis. It was like drowning in dust. There were a lot of kids to feed and not a lot of money. Her mother died when she was just a young teenager. At the age of 17 she went off to work in New Mexico. Eventually she ended up working in California as a welder in a factory that made airplanes for the war. Then she started working as a waitress, helping to put her ex-sailor husband through college. She would work in restaurants the rest of her life.

The husband she helped through college abandoned her to raise her children alone. He never paid child support or alimony. She worked double shifts, and when she could she paid for babysitters to take care of her children. The boys would usually get into trouble if left alone, like setting off fireworks inside the house.

Eventually she bought a small house and remarried. Her new husband drank too much. During that time she took care of three of her brothers who were alcoholics. Two had fought in the war. One had spent the war in a Japanese prison camp. Those two eventually committed suicide. She and her husband divorced and she moved back to Texas.

There, she once again worked as a waitress, then managed the restaurant. She bought two little cheap houses (both for about $20,000), lived in one and rented the other. In West Texas they use the N word a lot. My mother never did. In fact she upset some of the townsfolk by hiring black girls to work in the kitchen. When she started them waiting tables some of the men told her that if she didn’t get rid of the black girls they wouldn’t come back. She didn’t get rid of the black girls and the men came back.

My mother worked until she got too old to work. She hated not being able to work. Retirement never suited her. She retired on less than $1000 a month from Social Security (another socialist entitlement program). Those were my mother’s first government checks. Until then she never received any form of assistance from the government, well except that she did send her children to public (socialist) schools. I’m sure Romney would prefer citizens to send their children to private schools like Cranbrook where he and his wife went to school. And, his running mate, Paul Ryan, would prefer either home schooling or Catholic schools to protect children from godless humanism.

I guess when my mother started collecting those Social Security checks is when she started thinking that she was a victim, that the government owed her a living, and that the government had the responsibility for caring for her. I had always thought that she had earned those checks.

Of course she should have had an additional retirement plan like a 401(k). But when she worked in California, I know she had two jobs, one at a restaurant and one at a cocktail lounge. I assume that was because like today the food industry prefers part-time employees in order to avoid paying for benefits such as health coverage—certainly that’s an employer’s god-given right, though Jesus was all about healing others.

As a waitress my mother’s main income was her tips, not her hourly income, which most likely was minimum wage (another socialist entitlement program). Like many Democrat working single mothers or even Democrat working married mothers, there was no extra money left over for investments, blind trusts, or offshore accounts. She didn’t have fancy accountants and lawyers to offer sophisticated tax planning techniques that would enable to avoid paying taxes. Fancy lawyers and accountants, like the people at Bain Capital, would not have been interested in her.

My mother’s life consisted of hard labor at low wages (yes being a waitress is hard labor, especially given waitresses have to put up with obnoxious male customers), raising her children, and paying taxes. Even when she managed a restaurant, which meant she did the accounting, the buying, the hiring and firing, and was the chef, she made no more than $25,000 a year. She never bought a new car except for a VW van she bought my brother when he came back from the Vietnam War.

I suppose Romney would think that after fifty years plus of hard work my mother had finally become a welfare mother. I say fifty years plus because growing up the child of a poor famer she didn’t have much of a childhood. She loved school because that’s were she could be with other children. Her family went to town once a week. Farm life then was a life of chores.

My mother liked Bill Clinton (I stopped liking the man after the M.L. affair) because she believed that he cared about regular people. I believe he did, though now that he’s royalty he seems to care most about fame and fortune. He’s no Jimmy Carter that's for sure (whom my mother also liked, and Carter never dirtied himself). My mother liked Clinton because he was a regular guy who had to work hard to make his way in life. She would have thought that Mitt Romney, born into a wealthy family, could never understand what it was like to be dirt poor and to struggle all of one’s life.

My mother had no chance to go to college. She was lucky to finish high school. My stepfather, who served ten years in the navy, including the World War II, didn’t graduate from high school. His parents had died and he was raised by his brother. After the war he became a bartender and died on the job in his fifties. He didn’t live long enough to benefit from government welfare. Romney has never had to experience that kind of hardship. He spent thirty months in France as a Mormon missionary. Come on, that not being a missionary but a tourist! Albert Schweitzer was a missionary.

And like George Bush junior, Romney loves saber rattling (actually Obama does too). But he never served in the military, nor has his sons (nor did the Bushian neocon Paul Ryan). During the Vietnam War, Romney received five-and-a-half years of draft deferments, as a “minister of religion” and as a student. My biological father was an orphan who was raised by aunt. He served in the military. His ship was sunk somewhere in the pacific. He survived. My mother never cared much for saber rattling. Maybe that was because she knew what war did to men and the women who loved them.

When my mother became very sick, my brother brought her into his house. She didn’t like feeling dependent. So my brother and I found her an apartment in a HUD facility, for which she had to wait a year. She loved being independent again. But now she really was a welfare mother, HUD being a federal entitlement program. She died there.

My mother would have voted for Obama, perhaps because he is black but mostly because he cares about regular people, even welfare mothers like mine.

Obama: Diplomats' Deaths Will Be Revenged Big Time!

President Barack Obama is monitoring the situation in the Middle East, North Africa and other areas of the world amid anti-U.S. demonstrations sparked by a film mocking Judeo-Islam. Obama says the killing of U.S. diplomats in Libya will not deter the United States from projecting it military power throughout the world, along with its decadence, corruption, and shopping malls. His greatest threat was to allow Romney and Ryan, the Armageddon Twins, to win the election. Then Libya would know what it is to become an ashtray full of nuclear waste.

Obama repeated his vow to bring to justice those responsible for the deaths of American diplomats in Libya and said the losses will not deter the United States from maintain a military presence in the Middle East. We have proved that we have the power to occupy any little country that we wish. We occupied Iraq and Afghanistan for tens years and have slaughtered thousands Afghans and Iraqis. Like my predecessor George Bush I can snap my fingers and cities will be crumble.

"I want people around the world to hear me,” said America’s Caesar. “To all those who would do us harm, no act of terror will go unpunished. If you want to see terror I will show you terror. Have you not seen the destruction we delivered upon Afghanistan and Iraq? Your pathetic terror will not thwart our imperialistic goals. It will not defeat the thousands of modern weapons we proudly present to the rest of the world. No act of violence shakes the resolve of the United States of America to master the world."

The White House released summaries of Obama's telephone conversations with Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi, and Libyan National Assembly President Mohammed Magarief, in which he sought security assurances for U.S. diplomatic personnel and facilities otherwise face absolute destruction. He assured Morsi and Magarief that he has drones with their names on them.

In a phone conversation with Obama, Libyan president Mohamed Magarief stressed the importance of cooperation between the two countries and that though his administration is not for sell as in America money does buy influence. Magarief say his administration will find the culprits and torture them, using the very same techniques Americans used in Iraq and Afghanistan. So keep those trucks of American dollars coming. Magarief also reminded the president that he knows Washington has been giving $1.3 billion a year to Egypt's army plus additional funds for the government. "Well, let me tell you, Mr. President," said Magarief, choking out the words, "we Libyans also love Israel, so perhaps a few more trucks of American dollars are required. Allah bless America!"

since it signed a peace deal with Israel in 1979. Washington gives $1.3 billion in aid a year
Obama  reiterated his rejection of efforts to denigrate Islam, saying there is never any justification for violence against innocents and acts that endanger American personnel and facilities. We will verbally chastise any American who calls Mohammed a child molester or a Catholic priest. But that is no reason for violence. In America if one man calls another man’s mother a fucking slut the listener will say you should not speak that way of my mother but I will do no violence.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had a strong condemnation of the amateur film that sparked violence across the region, as she addressed a visiting delegation from Morocco. She said she enjoy much more the film of bin Laden being shot. She said I can’t say if Mohammed was sleazy womanizer but that if he were I would forgive him as I forgave my own womanizing husband.

"This video is disgusting and reprehensible," she said. "It appears to have a deeply cynical purpose to denigrate a great religion and to provoke rage. So tell me why I could not stop laughing? Still there is no justification, none at all, for responding to this video with violence. In America a Jew can urinate on Jesus and we all laugh together. Muslims need to lighten up and enjoy life more. Learn to laugh at themselves as we do."

Vice President Joe Biden paused before a political campaign speech in Wisconsin to pay tribute to the Americans killed in He said, "We will not be run off; we will redouble our military presence and send in more ships and soldiers. We will seek a more tolerant, more secure world under the tutelage United States of America, if necessary under the heel of our boots."

At an event in Washington on Libya, a senior fellow at The Atlantic Council, Kareem Mezham, said all signs point to the assault on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi having been carefully planned.

"There is no doubt no that it was a prepared attack," said Mezham. "Calling it an accident or an incident is preposterous. It went on for hours and nothing like that would have gone on for hours if it was not prepared. So it must have been prepared to go on for hours hours before it started. Like America’s 10-year wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. They had been prepared years before the 9-11 attacks.

I will tell you what I smell. I smell al Qaeda all over the operation. In fact some have said that there were sightings of bin Laden. That would mean the bin Laden who was killed on that no easy day might have been a clone. There are rumors that an al Qaeda cloning factory run by Iranians has been operating in Pakistan for decades. They produce thousands of terrorists from the toenail of a single dead terrorist. And there is evidence that a lock of bin Laden’s hair has been used to clone hundreds if not thousands of bin Ladens, many of whom have been smuggled into the U.S."

President Obama also continues to be briefed on other situations in which demonstrations against the film mocking Islam broke out, including Yemen where protesters stormed the grounds of the U.S. embassy in Sana'a. He was heard ordering a dozen Obama Predator Drones to be readied for his command. He even requested that Xbox controller be brought to him because he may want to direct the drones himself. “I just feel somebody needs killing.”

9-11: Every Cloud Has a $ilver Lining

Bad history better swept under the rug

Front page of the San Diego Union-Stars and Stripes-Tribune says it’s a time to reflect and instruct. Just don’t reflect too much. SDU-T has become a propaganda newspaper so would expect more patriotic propaganda from teachers than investigative analysis.

“It was one of the worst tragedies in our history.” It certainly was a dramatic tragedy. However, it certainly didn’t compare to the Civil War or World War II. Actually, compared to other countries America has been free of great tragedy. We’ve been a lot better at inflicting tragedy—the genocide of the Native Americans, the enslavement of blacks and isolating them even after they were freed. And there was the war against the Philippines:

“The war and occupation by the United States would change the cultural landscape of the islands, as the people dealt with an estimated 34,000–1,000,000 casualties.” (Wikipedia)

Now that’s a tragedy. And there was he Mexican-American War, which enabled the U.S. to steal a big chunk of Mexico. And then the Vietnam War:

"Estimates of the number of Vietnamese soldiers and civilians killed vary from fewer than one million to more than three million. Some 200,000–300,000 Cambodians, 20,000–200,000 Laotians, and 58,220 U.S. service members also died in the conflict.”  (Wikipedia)
Except fore the young American men drafted into the military the Vietnam War was not a tragedy for Americans, who could watch the war on TV in the comfort of their homes. But it wasn’t so great for the Vietnamese, being occupied by the world’s most advanced and sophisticated killing machine.

And the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq have not been tragedies for Americans. And after 9-11 the terrorists were not a serious threat to Americans. George W. Bush tried to make the 9-11 attacks into the equivalent of the attacks on Pearl Harbor. But after a few weeks only people suffering from hysteria could continue to believe that there was a serious threat to the nation. Bin Laden’s crew pulled off a remarkable coup, but that was all. Unlike Pearl Harbor, no nation was responsible and no nation had declared war on the U.S. It was an act of terrorism. That’s all.

But why would bin Laden want to do that? The answer to that question is one teachers would want to avoid. Like they wouldn’t want to explain the U.S.’s support of the many dictatorships in the region, including bin Laden’s, Saudi Arabia. It’s still a dictatorship but it buys billions of dollars worth of weapons from the U.S. Or explain our friendship with Saddam Hussein. Check out Donald Rumsfeld (special envoy of President Ronald Reagan) with Hussein:

Even though Hussein invaded Iran first, the U.S. was on his side because the U.S. has always hated the Iranians. In 1953 the U.S. and Britain helped to overthrown a democratically elected government in Iran so they could install the Shag as their puppet dictator:

The teachers certainly won’t to talk about that. And why didn’t George H.W. Bush’s take out Hussein when he had the chance during the First Gulf War? Hussein had committed war crimes against Kuwait. Because Hussein was an enemy of Iran. So you see the U.S. is quite capable of supporting really bad people—not long ago Mubarak, Egypt’s form dictator, and until recently al-Assad, dictator of Syria. Dictators will to tolerate the abuses of Israel against the Palestinians were especially favored.

Along with Britain the U.S. supported the Jewish invasion of Palestine. Europeans thought the Holocaust was evil, but that didn’t mean they wanted the Jews invaded their country. The Palestinians were nobodies so let the Jews invade the homeland of the Palestinians.

But don’t worry about teachers discussing America’s inglorious history. They put students to sleep if they did that.

9-11 was an opportunity

That’s right. The 9-11 attacks were just what the proIsrael, antiMuslim neocons occupying White House were waiting for—War! A war that really wasn’t a war for Americans but only for the Afghans and later the Iraqi. Afghanistan hadn’t declared war on the U.S. No Afghan was involved in the attacks. The Taliban—the Muslim patriots who would try to defend their homeland against America’s Cyberdyne military machine—didn’t even know about the attacks. Certainly don’t want to tell the kiddies that given they are most the people the U.S. war machine has been killing in Afghanistan.

So it was an opportunity to crank of the U.S. Military-Industrial Complex and make millions for the war profiteers, provide lots of military jobs, and create a whole new entertainment genre. Like the new BIG BUCKS book by one of the SEALs who assassinated bin Laden in his home. Usually drones are the weapon of choice for such assassinations but Obama wanted a body to guarantee his reelection. The title of the book is No Easy Day. You think being a SEAL is hard try being a American coal miners. Each working day is dark and miserable:

Or try walking a mile in the shoes of a Taliban soldier. Actually hundreds of miles.

You see the Taliban Reapers American soldier are fighting have no planes, helicopters, tanks, or vehicles at all except perhaps pickup. And as they march to battle carrying an AK-47 or a rocket launcher and wearing sandals and a robe, they never know when an invisible helicopter or drone will take them out. Unlike American soldiers Taliban fighters can pretty much assume they will die when they engage the enemy, if only because it won’t be long before the jets and attack helicopters will arrive.
For example, after 11 year of fighting about 2,017 U.S. soldiers have been killed. That’s 183 solders per year. That is a small number of a WAR. No one keeps count of how many Afghans have been killed. Often there is nothing left of them to be counted. Here’s what a NO EASY DAY is like for the Taliban:

It was only a war for the Afghan and Iraqi people

For the neocons and the U.S. military the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq were not really wars except for the Afghan and Iraqi people. Americana were not threatened by either nation. Neither people had anything to do with the 9-11 attacks. And neither nation had the military capability of threatening America. The biggest threat to Americans continued to be other Americans. Since the 9-11 attacks no less than 154,000 Americans have been murdered in this country.

For the U.S. military the “wars” were military exercises, the opportunity to test and develop new weapon systems and try out new tactics. Afghanistan was okay but the military needed towns, so Iraq was chosen as the place for urban warfare exercises.

And the soldiers involved were volunteers who most likely grew up playing video games and wanted the opportunity to kill real people and to use the fantastic weapons of mass destruction of the U.S. military. And the risk is minimal given “In the decade since the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, 2,333,972 American military personnel had been deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan or both.” (“U.S. Veterans: By the Numbers”) And if there was no risk at all what would be the fun.

War is profitable

And the wars meant spending trillions of taxpayer dollars that would make war profiteers rich and keep the economy going until it ran out of gas, which it did.

War is entertaining

All the shitters in on military bases provide the Koran for toilet paper. A harmless joke. And what about those Mohammed dart boards.

And males soldier have a lot of fun with the female soldiers: If you can’t rape the one you want (Afghan/Iraqi) rape the one you’re with.

Hey, and it’s caught on back home where 1 out of 5 American women have been the victims of rape or attempted rape.

And Republicans will tell you girls that if you don’t want to get pregnant just say No in your mind. Otherwise, just lie back and enjoy the moment.

Sometimes fun means shooting civilians, a habit picked up from the Taliban:

The Afghan and Iraq Wars have been all around entertaining, at home and abroad. And one result has been the U.S. has become a totally militarized nation that enjoys the movies and books about the wars and the endless video games.

What’s next?

If the Republican kill cult gets into office—advised at prayer breakfasts by his holiness, the Most Reverend Terry Jones—Iran most definitely will be on the Nations To Kill List; and certainly Russia, according to Romney America's number one foe; and America's banker, China; finally, Lord willing, Armageddon. It's time to stock up on chips and beer.
