Hamas Victorious DELETED!

From Blogger: "This post was deleted because it violates Blogger Community Guidelines. To republish, please update the content to adhere to guidelines."

Yes, this blog article was deleted by Blogger. Certainly it wasn't read by anyone associated with Blogger. They don't read; they just delete. Most likely, I perhaps offended someone who found the title offensive. It certainly did not offend the dead children killed by both Hamas and Israel. My purpose was to defend them and all the other civilians killed in this war and the war in Ukraine where children are killed, kidnapped, and then sold online to pedophiles. Did I say something amiss about Putin? I was told to review the extensive guidelines but was not told what the problem was, so I was like a blind man looking for a needle in a haystack. In fact, the notice didn't indicate which article had been deleted. In the past Blogger would at least indicate the criticized blog post. In one case, I didn't know what the problem was so I simply deleted the post. Now Blogger does the deleting and tells you to go find out why. You can repost if you kept a copy.

The deleted “Hamas Victorious” post was highly critical of Hamas and Israel and mocks Netanyahu, the guy Spain's top criminal court has launched legal action against for war crimes. Was that my faux pas? Or was it my joke about Epstein, described by Wikipedia as a child sex offender? Or does someone think I disrespected God. Well, if God has the knowledge of horror that is occurring to children and has the power to prevent it, but doesn't, then he doesn't deserve to be respected because he lacks moral goodness. Or perhaps I disrespected the religious ideologies of the people involved in the conflict. Ideologies are cultural inventions. If they encourage doing harm, causing suffering, especially of women and children, then they are evil and deserve to be condemned.

Basically what Jesus said—not Christ, a mythic figure invented by Apostle Paul and the other writers of the New Testament*—is enough of the hatred and violence. There is a better way to live than hating and harming people, especially children. And actually what he meant that was ignored by Christians is that living altruistically is living spiritually. Paul talks endlessly about the spirit but knows nothing about it. It was just an idea he picked up from Plato who picked it up from Pythagoras. None of those men know anything about spirit. They just considered it non-material thus it must be good. Christians believe living spiritually is being a Christian. Wrong. American slave owners were all Christians. And both the Old Testament and New Testament condone slavery. That is hardly spiritual thinking but a good example of the harm ideologies can cause. The brilliant Jew Jesus came up with a new idea (a moral principle). The spiritual life requires action, not just being a member of this or that religious cult. And the action must be beneficial (lessen suffering) in order to be spiritual. Causing suffering and living spiritually are incompatible.

That is why Jesus sought to modify or reinterpret, not necessarily reject, the religion of his people. Both he and John the Baptist were Jews. John knew there was a better way of living. And he offered baptism as a means of washing away the old way of living in order to begin a new way of living. What was the new way? Jesus’s way of life, a way of life that wasn’t God centered but human centered. The God centered way of life did little to nothing to benefit people. Most important it lacked a human-centered morality, which became for Jesus the basis for living a spiritual life. First of all, you must take with a grain of salt what Jesus says in the Gospels because the words are untrustworthy having been written by the Gospel writers who were—like Paul—Old Testament Christians, not followers of Jesus. Their Christ-God man declared war on humanity—a bringer of war, he says, not a bringer of peace. That’s not Jesus.

The true Jesus is revealed mostly through his actions, not his words—the existential Jesus. He heals the sick, stands up for the poor, and defends rather than browbeats women. And he sends his disciples to spread his spiritual morality to his people. He was not interested in the pagans. He tells his disciples, “Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel.” And what should they do? “Drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness.” Heal rather than harm. The assault on pagans was Paul’s idea, and as an Old-Testament Christian he wanted the cultural destruction of the pagans. He was a brilliant, evil man. The Old Testament Christians who invaded America followed his lead. They wanted Native Americans (who were pagans) destroyed by either bullets or conversion.

Jesus was ignored by his own people—both traditional Jews and Christians. Jesus might have had the same influence on the pagans as Buddha had on many cultures. Buddha was the first spiritual leader who chose a life-centered rather than God centered spiritual life. He was not a theologian but a wise man typical of the Eastern world. He was an ethicist who offered a complete ethical philosophy. His two great insights are to recognize significance of suffering as an absolute concern and humanity’s greatest undertaking is to minimize suffering in the world, for both human and other life forms. What Buddha offered was a spiritual philosophy because in recognizing suffering as a tragic aspect of life he recognized the absolute value of life. In this sense, his concern for suffering goes beyond that of Jesus because he recognized the value of all life. So what he offered that Jesus didn’t was a way of perceiving that was spiritual. I don’t see Buddha meditation as being inward-focused but outward-looking. His philosophy of the tragedy of suffering implies the valuation of all life.

Albert Schweitzer was more of a Buddhist than a Christian. What he experienced on the boat while “looking at the hippopotamuses* was a sudden deep feeling of awe and wonder for being in wild nature and realizing that all life is equally valuable and connected. Reverence for Life is an ethic that says that all life is valuable and for humans to fully feel and comprehend this truth they must engage in deep contemplation. It is only in deep thought that a person can establish an inner profound reverence for all life.” This is pure Buddhism. Important here is ethics is also about recognizing value, inherently value in this case, not utilitarian value. So Buddha and Jesus offer ethical philosophies that are simple yet profound. And at time they were unique and new. Before these men societies were indifferent to suffering and even accepted causing harm as a norm.

*Blinded by Christianity, T.S. Eliot could not see that the hippopotamus is a magnificent thus captivating life form, like all creatures really. Intoxicated by Catholicism, he became blinded to the magnificence of the lifeworld. His blindness is expressed in his poem "The Hippopotamus." Whereas Buddha sought clarity of vision that required suspension of religious ideologies (and other conceptualizations) that distorts reality, Eliot allowed Catholicism to distort his perception and understanding of the magnificent hippo.

And the spiritual way of life based on ethics would have appealed to the Greek and Roman pagans who were looking for a more spiritual way of life that Greek philosophy failed to provide. Socrates’s great revelation is that men must adopt a rationally skeptical approach to ideas and actions. Without using reason as a guide, especially a moral guide, men will act foolishly and destructively. Of course, like Buddha and Jesus, Socrates was ignored. What we see in the horrific carnage occurring in the world today says as much. What we see in the behavior of Hamas, Netanyahu, and Putin is irrational, unethical stone-age barbarity driven by masculine aggression.

And I find it odd that someone decided that my post contained a faux pas as significant as the cruel carnage the post/article condemns. Does a Blogger algorithm decide that a complaint requires deletion of the post? Couldn’t be an AI because AIs are not that simpleminded. A reader claims that a word or phrase is inappropriate so the algorithm deletes a post! And AI would indicate the faux pas with an X so that the author could delete what the reader considers offensive. Or was a photo or image that I used a copyright infringement? I make no money from my blog, and I find it quite weird that an unauthorized use of a photo or image would be considered more important than the mass murder (and kidnapping in Russia’s case) of children.

In any case, Blogger seems to be following Trump’s method of dealing with critical commentary: delete it or delete the entire program, which in my case would be to delete my blog. It is a procedure adopted in authoritarian societies such as Russia, China, Iran, and so on. So, perhaps we should stop criticizing war criminals and child sex offenders because God's in his heaven thus all's right with the world even though children continue to be murdered and kidnapped and are starving in Gaza. I suppose this will be the next post of mine to be deleted. A complaint will be made and the algorithm will do the rest. However, I believe silence isn’t golden. It’s repression. That is exactly what happened to Socrates and Jesus. They were silenced.

Melania Trump recently revealed the importance of expressing one’s ideas. Her husband is a hard-hearted, tough-minded man. His way of doing business is transactional and essentially commercial. Profit rather than ethics is his dominate concern. He is not interested in the people of Canada, Greenland, or Ukraine but in the wealth that can be taken from their countries. His use of tariffs has revealed his concern for people is less than his concern for monetary profit. He has cancelled more than 90 per cent of U.S. aid programs such as U.S. Agency for International Development that helps fight disease and starvation in poor nations. He has shown that he is not motivated to help the Ukrainian people unless he or U.S. profits in some way. He is not a Good Samaritan but an opportunist. He will help someone if doing so is profitable. Then comes along Melania. Trump has been soft on mass murderer Putin. He tells Melania that he had a wonderful conversation with him, and she responded, “Oh, really? Another city was just hit.”

What Melania was able to do with her soft-hearted feminine response was to pierce through Trump’s tough-minded, hard-hearted indifference. In some way her compassionate feminine voice echoed within him. Trump’s White House crew are all fueled by masculine aggression—both the men and the women. But Trump doesn’t care about any of them as much as he cares about Melania. From the very beginning of his presidency Trump has been forgiving of mass-murderer and kidnapper of children Vladimir Putin, who is also responsible for getting nearly 1 million Russian soldiers killed or injured. Now Trump has said that he’s only going to give Russia 10 to 12 more days to reach peace with Ukraine, shortening a 50-day deadline he gave Putin two weeks ago before imposing punishing sanctions and tariffs. This change of heart resulted from what Melania told her husband. (Unfortunately, the change of heart did not result in action. Melania's heartfelt goodness was no match for her husband's masculine aggression.)

What Melania expressed reveals how the feminine worldview differs from the masculine. Melania cared about the human suffering Putin caused by hitting another city with drones and missiles. She saw beyond the destruction to the suffering—empathy Putin and Netanyahu are incapable of feeling, and Trump as well so it seems, in spite of the brief wisdom provided to him by his wife. For a moment, he became a changed man because he took serious an idea from a woman he loves, respects, and values. He should listen more to Melania than to the cruelly indifferent opportunistic fools he has surrounded himself with in the White House. To her concern for those who suffer, especially the suffering of children, that my critics believe is less important than the mysterious faux pas I committed.

On a more positive note. I had always taken Melania for granted. Even when present, she was eclipsed by Trump’s presence. No longer. Beauty tamed the beast if only momentarily. Oddly, Melania might have redeem Trump’s presidency if he had only allowed her profound moral insight to have greater influence on his thinking and behavior.

The Pope of MAGA Speaks

Because of me, many will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death.
Because of me, you my followers will be hated by all nations.
Because of me, many will turn away from their faiths and will betray and hate each other.
Because of me, my false prophets will appear and deceive many people.
Because of me, wickedness will increase and the love of most will grow cold.
But those who stand firm with me to the end will be showered with
 gold.
And the gospel of the Kingdom of MAGA will be preached in the whole world
as a testimony to all nations that their end will come.”

America’s National Anthem of Shame

Oh, say can you see,
By the dawn's early light,
What we once proudly hailed
Has become twilight's last gleaming,
Shameful stripes and befouled stars.
Cowardly we flee while others die.
While over ramparts Ukrainian soldiers
Are so gallantly streaming,
Americans watch from afar
Apathetic, unconcerned, unfeeling.
And the rockets’ red glare,
And bombs bursting in air
That slaughter women and children
Give proof of Putin’s evil
And of the unmanliness
of the three cowardly amigos
Trump, Vance, and Rubio.
O, say, does that
Star-Spangled Banner yet wave
Over the land of the free
And the home of the brave?
Once but no longer.
Now the home of vassals
cowering before evil.

An Apology to China’s Peasants

That Haunting Inferiority Complex

I speak to the Chinese people. You must overlook the behavior of our dull-minded vice president. Like his mentor he is mentally deficient. But whereas Donald Trump suffers from narcissistic nihilism (nothing matters but himself), J.D. suffers from a haunting inferiority complex. His daddy abandoned the family,* and apparently his mama took it out on little J.D. She went through men like a baby through diapers. So much for heterosexual bliss! What was the poor boy to conclude except that he was worthless? Mama escaped through drugs and they became worth more to her than little J.D.
*So did my daddy. I was seven my brother was four. It was a cowardly, selfish, hurtful act. The job of daddies is to encourage and guide their sons and daughters, not abandon them.
Once older he decided to prove himself by enlisting in the United States Marine Corps. As vice president, J.D. recently complained that the message of American culture to young men is that you should suppress every masculine urge. His message to them is don’t suppress what makes you a man. Yet, during his six-month tour in the Iraq War his weapons were a clipboard and a camera. He wrote articles and took photographs. Apparently suppressing the masculine urge to fight, he never volunteered for combat missions. “I was lucky to escape any real fighting,” he said in his 2016 memoir.
Clearly he preferred writing and taking photos to risking his neck fighting. He certainly was no Ernie Pyle, the American war correspondent who lost his life while serving with first line troops during the Battle of Okinawa. Ernie Pyle was a real man, not a real-man pretender. J.D. was like a cowboy who never rode a horse or banded a cow. So the inferiority complex lingered.
Real Heroes
Ernie Pyle shares cigarettes with some First Division Marines as they rest at an Okinawa roadside on April 8, 1945.

Ernie Pyle was a member of America’s
Greatest Generation
when America fought the enemy
rather than sided with the enemy
when dignity was in the White House
rather than disloyalty.

J.D. wrote his memoir Hillbilly Elegy, which could have been titled The Origin of My Inferiority Complex. He then became a lawyer. Unfortunately, Lawyers are among the top five least trusted people in America. Then he became a politician, the profession most distrusted by Americans. If he went any lower, he would have to become a pedophile or join a drug cartel or become president of the United States. Again, the complex lingered because Americans hate lawyers and politicians. As vice president anywhere he goes he’s booed.

Transformed from Jekyll to Hyde

The lawyer-politician combo failed to provide respectability. So, the inferiority complex remained, but a transformation occurred. The inferiority complex was transformed into hate-fueled narcissism. Thus, it’s not surprising that Trump and Vance formed a homo-narcissistic bond. There was no way Melania could compete with macho Vance. Then things got worse for her and Vance when the two narcissists Trump and Musk bonded creating a mΓ©nage Γ  trois that demoted Vance and excluded Melania, reducing her status to that of a portable ornament. The Musk-Trump tryst infuriated Vance whose animosity (hatred really) exploded like a supernova of disparagement and abuse that splattered federal workers, Ukraine (which he passionately hates), its heroic president Volodymyr Zelensky (a true patriot hated even more for being a true hero), Europe, Greenland, Canada, and now Chinese peasants. Only Russia and J.D.'s and his master's dear friend mass murdering psychopath Vladimir Putin escaped his hatred. Still, the inferiority complex remained because of those damned protesters who are everywhere loathing him. (That’s why Trump prefers to travel to Mar-a-Lago and various golf courses via Air Force One at a cost of $177,843 per flight hour).

Peasants

The word means people of the countryside. Vance’s supercilious reference to Chinese peasants just shows the extent of his dull-mindedness. Certainly, the pernicious communist tyrants that rule China as a prison state and whose will-to-power seeks to destroy Taiwan and enslave the Taiwanese deserve condemnation, as does the authoritarian MAGA oligarchy presently ruling America. Peasants are Earth people. There is no better introduction to peasant nobility than William Wordsworth’s poem The Solitary Reaper:

Behold her, single in the field,
Yon solitary Highland Lass!
Reaping and singing by herself;
Stop here, or gently pass!
Alone she cuts and binds the grain,
And sings a melancholy strain;
O listen! for the Vale profound
Is overflowing with the sound.

Whate'er the theme, the Maiden sang
As if her song could have no ending;
I saw her singing at her work,
And o'er the sickle bending;—
I listened, motionless and still;
And, as I mounted up the hill,
The music in my heart I bore,
Long after it was heard no more.

Here is an image of a peasant girl not so different from Wordsworth’s lass:

MAGA’s Dull-Minded Men

The difference between the perception and thinking of Vance and William Wordsworth is absolute, like the difference night and day. At least the dull light of the moon possesses beauty. Let’s bring in the other two dull-minded men to get all three men’s response to the solitary reaper. Dull-minded Trump would say her work is hard labor (which he has never experienced) to be avoided at all costs, meaning hiring a Mexican (no blacks allowed, as you know) to do the work if there are any left in the country. I suppose he thinks that if it’s okay for Putin to kidnapped children then it’s okay for cold-hearted ICE to do the same thing.

Trump’s a dandy, not a worker. He plays golf between executive orders that fire people who do work. He doesn’t like dirt, with the exception of rare earth minerals that can be expropriated from other nations. Since his birth he has been provided with money, so he always used money to work for him by paying to have someone else to do the work. Lifting a pen to sign his signature to an executive order firing someone or implementing an act of aggression against people and countries he hates (Putin and Russia being the only exceptions) is the hardest work he does. Trump really doesn’t work. He simply exists as a national affliction.

Gadget man Musk would just invent a robot to do the work. Musk has the sensibility of a Tesla robot. Bumblebee, WALL-E, R2-D2, or EDI have greater humanity than does Musk. He would like to send a rocket to Mars just to do it. He doesn’t give a shit about the planet.

Then there is poor haunted J.D., Master Trump's golem. In a sense, he is a mystery man because there isn’t any substance to him other than resentment and anger. He joined an investment firm, which does suggest a very materialistic philosophy of life. He claims to be a Christian, but his attitudes and behavior indicate that the teachings of Jesus had little effect if he actually read the Gospels. His greatest praise is for the Catholic theologian Augustine of Hippo who also learned nothing from the teachings of Jesus. He’s the guy who believed unbaptized babies should be sent to a nightmarish kiddy care in Hell! If he lived today he would work for ICE. Most likely, J.D. would see the solitary reaper as an insignificant menial laborer who is of no interest whatsoever. I mean she’s a fucking peasant!

The peasant in the painting is Alive and at one with nature.

What one sees in the painting is the primordial unity between the woman and nature—not simply in the fact that she is a peasant doing agricultural work. First of all, the rhythm of her work is determined by her physical relationship with the nature, not by the requirements of a machine so loved by Musk. She holds a hay fork, which is a tool, not a machine. The difference is important. The hay fork doesn’t separate her from the wheat in the way a tractor or combine would. Musk, of course, would prefer a robotic tractor, leaving farm work to machines. Like the other two co-conspirators he is not a man of the Earth. He, like them, is an artificial person (roboman).

More symbolically, the woman’s head scarf is the same shape and color of the clouds. Her blue apron is the color of the sky, and it and her dress are stirred by the wind as is the wheat in the field. So the artist (Winslow Homer) is saying that she’s as much a part of nature as are the clouds and wheat. Of course, to the hyper masculinity of the three dull-minded men, nature means nothing other than something to exploit. That Trump has ordered half of all trees within National Forests to be clear cut says as much. (Princess Mononoke we need you and Moro. There is evil in the White House that threatens all that is good.) Understanding the meaning of nature and the Earth-world requires a modicum of knowledge of philosophy, art, and literature and perhaps some actual experience in nature. (A golf course is not nature because it’s not natural.) But the values of the three men are thoroughly modern—business, politics, technology, and finance—thus thoroughly commercial and artificial. They share Judas’s love of silver, a rare earth metal. Nothing else matters. And being narcissists, they are incapable of having any empathy with the girl or nature. Their favorite image is their reflection in a mirror.

The Mind of the East

The three narcissists with their bloated egos would find this Chinese painting incomprehensible thus meaningless. That may also be true for the communist politburo that controls the Chinese Marxist-Leninist prison state. Again nature is inherently mysterious, a cloud-like emanation, which is consistent with modern physics. Bottom center is a small bridge with human figures. The significance of humans is reduced that of other creatures except the world reveals its mystery to us but not to them.

This painting shows that humans share the world equally with other creatures. It is our home together. An idea found among Native Americans, whom our dull-minded trio would consider worth less than even peasants because of their dependence upon the U.S. government that slaughtered them and stole their land. Perhaps Trump’s next executive order will be to abolish the reservation system.

Here again the insignificance of humans is illustrated, yet their awareness that encompasses the world is not insignificant. Thus, they witness the glorious Earth-world with appreciative awareness that is lacking in dull-minded men like Trump, Vance, and Musk. Let’s throw in the mass murderer Putin as well.

Two sources of wisdom: Chinese Zen Buddhism and Taoism

Influenced by both philosophies, the poet Bashō saw the mystery of existence in rivers, grass, mountains, toads, flowers, and birds. For Bashō the beings of existence are sacred, and they exist like foam stirred up by the waves of the ocean. But for him beneath the surface of the be-ing process is the great, mysterious void—the nothingness that gave birth to the Universe. (Consistent with modern astrophysics.) Though humans are physically insignificant, destined to return to the dust from which they came, it is to them that nature reveals itself. The obtuse minds of the three dullards Donald, Elon, and J.D. are too bloated with ego to see that. And unlike Bashō, Winslow Homer, and other artists, they lack insight, understanding, appreciation, and most of all empathy. Truly they see but are blind men. They are incapable of having a reverent appreciation for nature and all her creatures. They don’t even appreciate human beings.

This is also true of the Russia oligarchs that treat Russia as their piggy bank and allow dull-minded Putin to play war but not with toy soldiers made of wood, stone, clay and metal but with Russian men—father, sons, brothers, and boyfriends—made of flesh and blood, tens of thousands of whom have been sacrificed for his amusement. You would think that the Russian people would protest as the Americans have. What is holding them back? The absence of freedom within themselves. They have been slaves too long. The spirit of freedom died in Russia after the Marxist revolution, just as it did in the other two prison states China and North Korea. And MAGA’s three dullards and their dull-minded stooges want to turn America into a prison state, but as recent demonstrations have illustrated, freedom is alive and well among the American people.

Where is wisdom to be found in China? Not among the Marxist-Leninist overseers such as Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Chinese Communist Party. His title indicates that much. There are no wise men in the politburo. They abandoned the wisdom of their ancient wise men. Today wisdom resides only with the peasants whose minds haven't been destroyed by ideology.

No Confucius, who emphasized personal and governmental morality, harmonious social relationships, righteousness, kindness, sincerity, and a ruler's responsibilities to lead by virtue.

No Xun Kuang who believed because of China’s constant warfare of his time that human nature is evil. Those of us who live in modern Western societies that have given women a voice know that it’s not human nature that is evil. The evil lurks in the aggression inherent in masculine nature.

There is no Buddha, the oldest foreign religion in China, who says that there is already enough suffering into the world so one should act to lessen suffering, not increase it. So Xi, try to be wise. Don’t become a mass murder as Putin has become by attacking Taiwan. Be its protector and allow it to thrive on its own as Lao Tzu would recommend.

But for now there is no Lao Tzu, perhaps the wisest Chinese philosopher who is totally incomprehensible to the dull-minded men such as those who presently rule the U.S. and the prison states of Russia, China, and North Korea.

Trying to govern the world with force
I see this not succeeding
the world is a spiritual thing
it can’t be forced
to force it is to harm it
. . .
therefore the sage avoids extremes
avoids extravagance
avoids excess. (Red Pine translator)

We’ve seen the harm done to the world by dull-minded men who have sought to govern the world and its people with force. They have harmed it and its inhabitants.

Looking at Mount Fuji,
The rice-planting girl
Adjusts her hair.

Bashō’s poem and the painting reveal the wisdom of a simple peasant girl. She is at one with nature, she works with nature to provide for her family, the simplicity of her being possesses beauty (witnessed by the painter and Bashō), and she takes a moment to look at the magnificent world with appreciative awareness. She is the summation of life capture in a moment. She struggles gracefully; a way of living that is alien to the dull-minded, greedy president of the United States and his toadies. The us-versus-them ideology Karl Marx destroyed the art of living gracefully in Russia and China. Unbridled capitalism has had the same effect in the U.S.

We Westerners have our own images of working with rather than against nature.

Anonymous

The beauties contained in this painting are numerous, but go unseen and unappreciated by dull masculine minds that value money and power above all else.

The Gleaners by Jean-François Millet

Millet shows poor women working harmoniously with the natural, organic world. Their motivation is love, love of life, of family, of nature, not desire for power, glory, or money that usually results in suffering for others. They suffer but do not cause suffering. Buddha and Lao Tzu would say these peasant women are saintly and beautiful. There is something sacred about them and their work. And yes, they are peasants, you stupid man J.D. It is among these poor, hardworking, uncomplaining, peasants that one sees true nobility, that which you and your dull-minded co-conspirators lack.

Again I must apologize
to the Chinese peasants
disrespected by America’s
dull-minded vice president
J.D. Vance.
